Dined in at the Shovel Handle Pub over the holiday- great food (I got the prime rib, which was perfect), both quick and kind waitstaff, and live music played at just that right volume level for both enjoying the music and also being able to easily talk and catch up with your group.

We just moved to Jackson and wanted to go somewhere nice for dinner. Found this place down the road and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The vibes were immaculate. The staff was awesome. And the food was to die for. The ribs fell off the bone and the steak tips were delicious! Definitely recommend.

Food was good here but the service was awesome and the atmosphere was magical! The fire pits outside are an awesome addition! A few more signature drinks or lists of drinks may make this even more fun! The wings and nachos looked great if you are looking for an appetizer wish I grabbed those!

So happy to have the shovel handle back!! New owners: HUGE difference. Food was delicious and staff was fun & friendly. Really loved our cocktails & the music is always great! It's back on our list of favorite restaurants! Thank you!

They had a really good lobster Mac and cheese! Their garlic wings were tasty but most of all, I really loved their water (lol). The water came straight from the mountains. This pub is also next to the inn we stayed which was super convenient! Worth the visit!
